Book 8 reads best if you remember what happened to each of the characters in the previous books very well, so if you don't remember much since it's been a year, now's a great time to reread :D

I skipped last week's update because I changed my mind about two of the pages I took out from my draft, specifically 143-144. I decided I wanted to keep them after I've already posted what is now 145-146, so I went back and drew them back in. I've linked this update to 141 so that the flow of pages can be read in sequence and hopefully make sense haha :D

The long story of this is, I do this all the time in draft stage moving pages and panels around; it always happens behind the scenes no matter how close I cut it before I draw the pages and I've never had a change of heart that I felt like I could still salvage after the fact, until these pages :') I deliberated about the current (new) 143-144 for months because it cuts into the flow of the quick spiral of the fairy's action and its consequences, with an extra element (sero) that is not absolutely necessary, one which I could easily explain later. But after many think throughs I felt like it'd be anticlimatic for him to be the one to drop all these hints about what he was planning to do, and not actually be the one to do it. It's kind of a corner I wrote myself into and the fact that I have to choose between 2 bad solutions is a sign of poor planning in prior writing, but I can only try my best to neaten a mess, and ultimately I think this is the more complete solution of the two. Who knows, maybe when I finish the book I'll change my mind again and take these pages back out hahaha
